To watch enthusiasts, the idea of spending six days hiking the halls of the world’s largest watch exposition, flitting from booth to booth to ogle the latest in horology, must seem like a dream come true. But covering Baselworld, with its 600-plus exhibitors, also is a lot of hard work. With exciting new collections featuring everything from extremely limited editions (20 pieces in one case) to fun colors like aqua popping up on markers, it’s hard not to stop and try on every eye-catching timepiece you run across. Then reality sets in, and we think of our customers and the kind of watch that best meets their everyday needs. That’s why we have a thing for Rolexes.
